The leading PR agency for the social and affordable housing sector, See Media, is strengthening its team with two key new appointments, reinforcing its expert strategic communications offer for the housing and associated sectors.
Michelle Stockley and Chelsea Yearsley have joined See Media as the agency continues to grow its expertise and expand its offer to new and existing clients. Their appointments mark an exciting new chapter for the business as it scales up to meet increasing demand for its specialist PR and communications services.
Based in the West Midlands, Michelle Stockley joins as Strategic Communications Director, bringing a wealth of experience in journalism, PR and strategic communications. With over a decade as a senior regional journalist, Michelle later moved into PR consultancy, where she worked closely with social housing providers, schools and charities before leading the PR for a national children’s disability charity.
Michelle said: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at See Media and to be returning to working in the housing sector at such an important time for the industry. I’ve always been driven by being able to make a real difference to people’s lives through the powers of creative strategic communications.”
With a strong track record in helping organisations put customers at the heart of their communications, Michelle will play a crucial role in ensuring See Media continues to deliver impactful and insightful work that supports clients to get their messages in front of their key audiences.
She added: “Having spent a decade previously working closely with social housing providers, I believe there is something special about the sector and the way people working in it come together to create thriving communities. It’s wonderful to be back, and I can’t wait to catch up with faces old and new in the coming weeks.”
Chelsea Yearsley also joins See Media’s remote working team supporting clients across the UK, this time based in the North West.
Chelsea will support the agency’s expanding client base by delivering creative content, media relations and campaign management as an Account Manager. She brings 14 years’ PR experience to her new role, working both in-house in high-profile television production and then moving agency side, managing clients across the third sector, education, engineering, tourism and lifestyle, as well as property industries.
Her appointment further strengthens See Media’s ability to provide high-quality, results-driven communications tailored to the unique needs of the housing sector and other purpose-led organisations.
On joining the team, Chelsea said: “My new role is a fantastic opportunity to communicate the excellent work that is being done in the social housing sector and to share stories of those it is helping across the UK.
“I’m looking forward to forming new relationships with our clients and their communities and supporting them in the meaningful work they are doing.”
