See Media’s PR team has been strengthened by the appointment of housing communications specialist, Sarah Thomas. Sarah joins the company from a Midlands based full service marketing consultancy where she managed the PR and marketing support for a number of housing sector clients. Sarah also brings with her a wealth of knowledge across a variety of other sectors, from local authority and not for profit to education and technology

Sarah, who has previously led teams in media relations, stakeholder engagement, event management, social media engagement and crisis comms has taken over responsibility for See Media’s recent account win, PR client Stonewater.

Sarah comments: “When I decided to look for a new challenge, I didn’t expect to find a new role so quickly or one that fitted so perfectly with my previous experience. The role includes all the elements of my previous job that I really enjoyed and the opportunities I am looking for from the next phase of my career.

“Having spent more than 20 years specialising in providing communications support to housing sector clients I really wanted to be able to continue to use my expertise to support clients achieve their aims. I have been fortunate to work in a variety of industry sectors but in recent years I’ve concluded I’m at my best when I can tell a story on behalf of a client that I have genuine passion for and where at some level my work makes a difference. 

“At See Media I’ve joined a team that shares my enthusiasm for the housing sector and will offer countless opportunities to further develop my own personal skill level. After only two weeks I’m still very much the ‘new girl’ but I’ve received a really warm welcome from the team at See Media and their clients. I’m really looking forward to the prospect of a really successful 2019”
