‘Housing 2016’ social media content

About the project

We worked with Ocean Media Group (OMG) to create a variety of content that would engage different sections of the target audience for Housing 2016. The aim was to maximise ticket sales. The primary channel for this content was social media (primarily Twitter and LinkedIn), with the content hosted on the event website. The content included short interviews with big hitters, quick blogs by key speakers and exhibitors, and light-hearted previews of exhibition features. The stories proved popular, with spikes in traffic to the event website. As a result, and despite the tough trading environment, the number of delegates attending Housing 2016 increased on 2015.

Client testimonial

I have worked with Stuart personally for over eight years. Both when he edited Inside Housing and more recently as he leads our events PR. Stuart is extremely professional, has a clear understanding of the sector, is great to work with and is extremely respected by colleagues and clients. We struggled for many years to find a PR company that complemented our in-house journalists and See Media has been a perfect fit. I cannot recommend them enough.
